Community, not competition

We've partnered with sphere to bring their soccer-inspired workouts to Madison. While the workouts are soccer-inspired, you don't need to know anything about soccer to participate. In fact, they were designed with the non-soccer player in mind. Each practice consists of a 15 minute workout followed by 45 minutes of structured open play - all set to music. People of all abilities and skill levels are welcome, and rule #1 is that there are no strangers on the field. sphere's mission is to build a community and connect, not compete.

Why sphere? The format is non-competitive, there are no refs and no scorecards, and bad apples are not tolerated, so it fits into the social sports category well. It's also a great option for those who are new to town and don't have a team or those who can't commit to a weekly game for an extended period of time. It's membership-based, and you can choose from two options depending on which one best fits your schedule.

  • The drop-in option allows you to pay only for the sessions you attend if you can't commit to playing every week
