Payment and Team Assignment

All Individuals who sign up for a league must enter valid payment information during registration. Individual registrations are different for pickleball than all other sports:

• Pickleball: Individual registrations will be “Confirmed” immediately, but your card has not been charged. Your Player Page will show a balance due for that league in the amount of the registration fee. We don't recommend paying this until close to the first date of the season. You may not have a spot in the league if we don't have enough individual signups to make it happen. We will reach out if your card is declined. Your spot will cancelled if no payment is made after we reach out to you regarding the declined transaction
• All other sports: When registration is complete, the player's status is listed as "Not Offered." This means you have not been placed on a team yet. Your card has not been charged. At any point after you register, you may be placed on an existing team looking for additional players, or you may be placed on a team composed entirely of Individual signups (a "free agent" team). Your card will be charged at this time (meaning right before we place you on a team). By registering for a league and entering payment information, you are authorizing us to charge your card at any time without contacting you first to inform you that your card is about to be charged. Your card won't be charged if we're unable to place you on a team 

You are responsible for making sure your payment information on file is current. If the card you used to register expires before you're placed on a team, we recommend registering again and contacting us to cancel the first registration. It's unlikely we'll place you without payment, and if your payment method is declined you'll be moved to the bottom of the list of available free agents. You'll only be contacted and asked to complete payment if there aren't enough other free agents registered to fill available spots. We generally can't place all Individuals who sign up, especially males who register for co-ed leagues.

Cancellation Policy

If an Individual is confirmed, placed, and subsequently wants to cancel their registration for any reason, they will be refunded the registration fee less a $20 cancellation fee. This includes players who join a registered team. If a player cancels up to the second week of the season, they will receive a pro-rated refund for games not played, again less a $20 cancellation fee. There are no refunds for any reason after the second week of any given season.

If you register as an Individual and need to cancel the Individual registration for some reason, you need to contact us and request to have the registration cancelled. There's no way for you to cancel the registration on your own. You are subject to the cancellation fee mentioned above as long as your Individual registration remains active.
