The Great Urban Race is Coming to Madison!
Get ready for a fun urban adventure this June!
The Great Urban Race hits Madison this June! The Great Urban Race is a wild urban adventure. Teams solve twelve clues and complete exciting mental and physical challenges while discovering the city in a fresh way! Registration is $50 per person and gets you:
- T-shirt and race number
- Clue sheet
- National Championship Qualifier medals for the Top 25 teams
- Post-race refreshments (fruit, water, granola bars)
- One free beer per 21+ participant
Despite containing the word "race," you don't need to be an endurance runner to participate in this event. Teams can go at their own pace and still finish the course. It's more about thinking, strategizing, and knowledge of your city than anything else. Click the logo to the left for more information.
Summer League Registrations Are Open!
Don't spend your summer on the couch!
Spring leagues are under way and summer leagues aren't too far behind. Scheduled for the summer are: volleyball, kickball, softball, and bag toss. All are dependent on interest and facility availability. If you're interested in playing any of these sports, start spreading the word now and assembling your team. Registration is open for volleyball and kickball and the other sports will be opening soon.

May Happy Hour
Our May Happy Hour will be held on Thursday, May 31st at Johnny O's (620 University Ave). We'll kick it off at 5:30 pm. Johnny O's will be offering $3.50 off all pitchers! Johnny O's is kicking off our summer happy hour series where we will try to be outside every month since the weather is getting nice. We will be at the rooftop bar hopefully enjoying some nice weather. They also have free basketball available for any hoops fans who want to play.
Brewers & Breweries Tour
We will be doing our annual B&B Tour again this summer on Saturday, August 18th. 2012's installment will feature a trip to Sprecher Brewery as well as the main event - the game against the Philadelphia Phillies. This trip is a blast every year. The best part is that you don't have to worry about anything - MSSC takes care of the bus to and from Milwaukee, tickets for the Sprecher tour, food and beer while tailgating, and game tickets. Team Trivia
We are looking to put together a trivia team in 2012, probably in the fall when the weather cools down and there isn't as much to do outside. You can just come join us any week you're available, and you can always bring friends too. There are a number of bars across the city that offer trivia, so we need to know where you would like to play. Click here to take our short trivia survey.

We are your headquarters for co-ed flag football in Madison. Don’t have a team? No problem! We will do our best to accommodate individuals that are looking for a team. You can simply register as a Free Agent and we will find you a team. Teams that are looking for additional players can indicate this by having the Team Captain check the appropriate box on the Registration Form. Team fees include 15 shirts, as that is the number of players we recommend for your roster. You may register as a team or an Individual (Free Agent); if you want to play but don’t have a team, we will find you one! Start date is subject to change depending on the weather and when our spring league wraps up.
